Nereid Atlas Editorial Desk
The editorial entity responsible for every story published on NereidAtlas.
Role
The Nereid Atlas Editorial Desk is the collective byline for all content published on this platform. It represents the editorial process that produces each story: from source selection and AI-assisted synthesis to human review and publication.
Methodology
Each story published on NereidAtlas follows a structured editorial pipeline:
- Source collection: articles are gathered from international news feeds spanning multiple countries, languages, and editorial perspectives.
- Clustering: related articles are grouped into story clusters based on topic, entity, and event similarity.
- AI synthesis: large language models generate a consolidated narrative that integrates facts, viewpoints, and framing differences from across the source set.
- Editorial review: every synthesized story is reviewed before publication. The review checks factual coherence, source attribution, and balance.
- Publication: stories are published with full source traceability, diversity metrics, and clear AI-disclosure.
Use of Artificial Intelligence
NereidAtlas uses AI at multiple stages of its editorial process. Specifically:
- Article translation and normalization across languages.
- Clustering of related articles into story groups.
- Generation of narrative summaries and full stories from clustered sources.
- Extraction of editorial signals such as framing patterns, emphasis, and omissions.
AI-generated content is always clearly labeled. No story is published without editorial review. For full details, see our AI Usage Policy.
Editorial Review
Every story undergoes editorial review before publication. The review verifies that the synthesis accurately reflects the source material, that source attribution is correct, and that the narrative is balanced. Publication is a deliberate editorial act, not an automated process.
