They each tell a version. We tell the full story.

Sourcing Policy

How we select, evaluate, and attribute the sources behind every story.

Source Selection Criteria

NereidAtlas collects articles from a curated set of international news feeds. Sources are selected based on:

  • Geographical diversity: sources from multiple countries and regions.
  • Editorial diversity: a range of editorial perspectives and ownership types.
  • Established presence: preference for outlets with a track record of published journalism.
  • Feed availability: sources must provide a structured feed (RSS/Atom) suitable for automated collection.

Source Attribution

Every story on NereidAtlas lists the sources it was built from. Each source entry includes:

  • The original article title.
  • The publisher name.
  • A direct link to the original article on the publisher's website.
  • The original publication date, when available.

NereidAtlas never removes or obscures source attribution. Readers can always verify the synthesis against its original material.

Diversity Metrics

Each story displays a diversity score that estimates how varied the source set is across outlets, countries, ownership types, and media formats. This metric is provided for transparency and helps readers assess the breadth of coverage behind each synthesis.
